Parker,
So I am a few weeks late on this post....ekks...I'm slacking! Let's see if I can remember what you've accomplished this month. This month was definitely a little more difficult than the first one. You've started to wake up a little more and your vocals are getting stronger :) During your 6th and 7th week you were very fussy and we tried all different positions, dances, and walks to try and soothe you...everything but hang you by the toes...jk. Then when your 8th week rolled around you were a different baby...you still cried but we were able to console you and you then started to smile which made everything worth it! You are still sleeping half the night in your bassinet and the rest of the night in between us. You typically only wake once throughout the night around 4 or 5 am, feed and then fall right back to sleep...I think I may fall back asleep before you sometimes :) You love the Baby Bjorn!! Which is great for Momma and Daddy. You usually fall asleep in it very quickly and then Momma can have two hands to get things done! Your car seat has stickers this month...you don't like it unless you are really sleepy. The grand idea to put your baby in their car seat to get them to fall asleep, doesn't work for you. You still have all the hair you were born with and are still wearing newborn clothes, but not for long.
You had your first Easter, first Aggie Muster, and your fourth cousin was born...Thomas.
At your 2 month (May 9th) check up your stats were:
Weight: 10 lbs 11.5 oz (25%)
Height: 24 inches (90%)
Head Circumference: 15 3/4 (50%)
We fall in love with you more and more every day you are with us. God has truly blessed us with a handsome child :) We love you, Momma

Parker's First Aggie Event...Muster
Parker had his first official Aggie event on April 21, 2011. We attended the Williamson County Aggie Muster in Georgetown. And he finally got to show off some of his Aggie apparel!
A little history on Aggie Muster...
"Softly Call the Muster...."
A little history on Aggie Muster...
Aggies gathered together on June 26, 1883 to live over again their college days, the victories and defeats won and lost upon the drill field and classroom. Eventually the annual gathering evolved into a celebration of Texas Independence on San Jacinto Day – April 21st. Over time the tradition has changed, but its very essence has remained “If there is an A&M man in one hundred miles of you, you are expected to get together, eat a little, and live over the days you spent at the A&M College of Texas.” Muster is celebrated in more than four hundred places worldwide, with the largest ceremony on the Texas A&M campus in College Station. Aggie Muster as we know it today is credited to E. E. McQuillen ’20, who served as the Executive Secretary of The Association of Former Students. It is fitting that he was honored to serve as the first Campus Muster speaker.
The committee was recognized as a student organization in 1950. Like the tradition itself, the committee has transcended the eras and events throughout its history and remained true to the timeless ideals of Muster. The Muster Committee is responsible for organizing and planning every aspect of the tradition, from speaker to barbeque, awareness to the Roll Call – this committee continues the livelihood of this great tradition year after year. The committee falls under the discretion of the Student Government Association. The 2010 Muster Committee is composed of twenty three committee members, six sub-chairs, and one chair. Their tasks vary among the five subcommittees: Awareness, Programs, Roll Call and Families, Speaker Selection, and Special Operations.
Muster is a time to look to the past, present, and future…not only to grieve but to reflect and to celebrate the lives that connect us to one another. A gesture so simple in nature yet so lasting in spirit, Muster is the lasting impression every Aggie leaves with us; it reminds us of the greatness that lies within these walls, of the loyalty we possess, of the connection that binds us, and of the idea that every Aggie has a place of importance – whether they are present in flesh or spirit.
Arrival of Mark Thomas Hebert!
On Tuesday, April 19th, we welcomed the newest member of the Hebert family...Mark Thomas the III. He arrived around lunch time and weighed 8 lbs 2 oz. Parker's fourth cousin already! When Patrick got off work, we hopped in the car and drove to San Antonio to see the little one. He almost made it the whole way there without crying, but the last ten minutes were brutal. Thomas was such a cutie...he had adorable chubby cheeks and a button nose. He didn't have as much hair as Parker but he definitely had some :) It was a quick visit and back in the car we went. Can't wait to see him again and get a pic of the two baby Hebert's...they wouldn't allow Parker in the room : (

One Month Old
I am a few days behind and it is not because I don't have the time...it's because I am really slow typing with one hand! My other hand is usually holding Mr. Parker :) Parker had his 1 month check-up on Monday and all was good. He gained 2 lbs. in just two weeks...my little boy likes milk! Here are his stats...
Doctor's Appointment 4/11/11
Weight: 9 lbs 0.5 oz
Height: 22 3/4 inches
Head Circumference: 15 1/2 inches
The first month has flown by, as will the rest of our lives from here on out probably. Yes, the days can get a little monotonous and at points you just run out of ideas to make them stop crying, but it is all so worth it. When he occasionally makes good eye contact with me, turns his head during tummy time, or starts to crack a smile, it makes each day and loss of sleep worthwhile. Actually I can't complain too much, I have a pretty laid back baby. This past week we finally bought him a SwaddleMe by Summer Infant and ever since he is sleeping 6-8 hours at night. Yahoo...so far so good...I will keep my fingers crossed. He still sleeps with us about half the night...more for convenience with nursing. He is still wearing newborn size onesies, but it won't be long and he will be in the 3 month size. I like to call Parker my little space heater because he is always so hot. He sweats at night and anytime he is touching me...I'm always cold so I don't mind :) Parker is starting to like bath time as long as he is in a good mood when we start the bath...much better than those cold sponge baths. He is starting to smile more and more and I think he got his Daddy's dimples...yeah! He also still has all the hair he was born with. Everyone kept telling me it would fall out but so far so good.
This past weekend Daddy was on his CRHP retreat at our church so Parker, Sully, and I headed to Hallettsville to visit with Nana (since Pops was on his ACTS retreat). We got some good Nana time and then Grandma Hebert came on Saturday for the afternoon to visit. Let's just say Parker got spoiled all weekend :)

The Arrival of Our Little Man, Parker Wayne
Parker Wayne Hebert
March 6th @ 12:24 am
Weight: 6 lbs 10 oz
Length: 19 1/4 inches
The arrival of our son started early Saturday morning around 2:30 am. Contractions kept me up all night, but I was occasionally able to fall asleep between a few of them. At this point I thought I just had stomach cramps and didn't realize I was in actual labor since it was 2 weeks before his due date. Around 8 am I told Patrick that what I was feeling wasn't normal and at that point we said this is it. Part of our bags were packed, but Patrick quickly packed the rest of the stuff we might need. Patrick went to work for a few hours that morning and he came back around lunch. At that point contractions were getting more regular and were getting closer together. We called our doctor and gave her a heads up and spent the rest of the afternoon trying to relax and watched tv. We watched the Aggie basketball game and then The Bee Movie :) Which by the way is a really cute movie...I had never seen it. Around 6 pm, contractions were about 4 1/2 to 5 minutes apart and Patrick suggested I start walking around to speed things up. Well it worked and at 6:30 we were in the car headed to the hospital. We got there around 7 pm, checked in, and got on the table to check my progress. I was 5 cm dilated and contractions were 3 1/2 to 4 minutes apart. It was go time! They got us in our room and after some crazy contractions, a trip to the shower to help relieve them, a lot of encouragement from Patrick and our midwife, and 5 hours later...out came our little boy at 12:24 am. We had a little scare immediately after him came out, he wasn't crying and was pretty limp. Although we wanted to keep the umbilical cord attached for awhile, our midwife said we couldn't wait and for Patrick to cut it immediately. They quickly got him suctioned out and then we heard his little cry and all was good! I only got to hold him for about 5 minutes before they whisked him away to get him completely suctioned out to improve his breathing. Patrick kept an eye on him in the nursery and gave him his first bath. Our families were patiently waiting outside the nursery to see Parker. Once Patrick and Parker were done they got us all transferred to the postpartum room and then I finally got to hold my little boy. Our families came in not long after to meet their grandson/nephew and everyone was amazed at the amount of hair he had. They also said he looked like his daddy. We had lots of visitors the next couple of days and can't thank everyone enough for all the prayers and gifts!
Patrick and I are so blessed and can't express the how thankful we are for the gift of our son. Having a child is truly an amazing experience and we both can't wait for the new life and experiences Parker will bring to us. We love you Parker!

Act of kindness...
So I kind of fell of the band wagon for the past couple of weeks and have not posted anything! I haven't even been an avid reader of my normal blogs. I've been just a little preoccupied with baby fever I think :) Although I have lots to catch everyone up on, if I keep putting it off I'll forget the recent stuff.
So anyways, this isn't much but it was very special to me and I now know God and the precious Mother Mary are watching out for me. I went to church early last Saturday around 4:30 to pray the rosary before 5 o'clock mass. Patrick and I were going to pray it together, but he had to help out with one of the tables outside church. So I sat down and started praying the rosary on a cheaper yarn rosary someone made for Patrick, when I got a tap on the shoulder that actually scared me since I was in deep thoughts. The lady sitting behind me handed me her beautiful turquoise and silver rosary and told me she wanted me to have it. I was completely touched and it made me a little teary eyed...let me remind you I am pregnant and about to pop. I continued praying with her rosary and once I composed myself I turned around to introduce myself and tell her that I love turquoise and that my grandma, Suzy, lives in Santa Fe and is always giving us great turquoise jewelry. She said her sister is a nun that works on an Indian reservation and some little Indian handmade it and gave it to her.
So with this said, I will definitely be taking my new rosary into the labor room with me and heck I may even wear it :) I love little signs that help confirm He is looking out for us. And what a more appropriate way, especially for a soon to be mom.
